Welcome to the Wyoming Junior Golf Tour

The Wyoming State Golf Association is proud to present the Wyoming Junior Golf Tour (WJGT). The WJGT is a program designed to offer competitive golf opportunities to boys and girls of various ages and skill levels throughout the state of Wyoming. In addition to the Wyoming State Junior Amateur Championship, the 2010 tournament schedule will be expanded to include five Regional Events. Each Region will host one 18/36-hole event between June 7th and August 8th.

Membership

WJGT membership is required in order to participate in the Wyoming State Junior Amateur and any of the regional events. Boys and girls ages 7 through the summer following their senior year of high school are eligible for membership.
Residency in the state of Wyoming is required for membership.

Members will receive a Rules of Golf Rule Book, membership bag tag, and WSGA Membership, which includes a USGA Handicap Index through the GHIN Service, and a subscription to Scorecard Magazine.

Fees – WJGT Membership: $20, Regional Events: $30 each, Wyoming State Junior Amateur: $30


Competitions

Wyoming State Junior Amateur. . . . . 36-hole stroke play championship

Regional Events. . . . 18 / 36 - hole stroke play.

Ages 7 - 9 will play 9 holes each day

Ages 13 and over will play 18 holes each day.

Regional Events will be played on Mondays and Tuesdays, based on availability of the host club.
